About Tibet |
Tibet is a land of mystery, adventure and spirituality; a home of legends, long closed to the outside world.
However, in 1980, Tibet's doors were inched open, giving the world its first glimpse of the country's breathtakingly beautiful landscape. Today, visitors are drawn to the country's spectacular Buddhist temples, ancient cities, enduring traditions and spectacular mountain scenery.
We offer many different types of tour to Tibet, with a range of hotels to suit every pocket. What's more, as we understand that a visit to this special country is a highly personal experience, we can also arrange a tour to meet your specific needs. For more information on tours to Tibet contact us.

A Pilgrimage to Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar |
For thousands of years, Mount Kailash (Kangripoche) - in western Tibet - has been sacred to Budhhists, Hindus, Jains and Bonpos. To Hindus and Buddhists in particular, it is the centre of the universe, and pilgrims walk overland for weeks or months to accomplish their lifetime goal of visiting the mountain.
Mount Kailash is also the source of four of Asia's greatest rivers; the Indus, Brahmhaputra (Tsangpo), Karnali (Ganges) and Sultejali have their sources within sixty miles of the mountain.
In September 1999, Mr. James A Pearre and Mrs. Diane
DeRocher trekked with us from Simikot, to Mount Kailash
and Lhasa. During their trip they kept a travel journal. Read
